As last days's go it wasn't a bad one - sad to be leaving but glad to be getting home to the mundane things like PEK chopped pork and baked beans.
Flight isn't until 8.30pm , and despite Gordon's plea at Cypress Pointe, the latest check out we could get was 12 o'clock, Disney simply do not extend check out for vacation club villas. They do however store your luggage for you, so at 7.00am we trapse down to reception with our 3 suit cases, still unsure how we will now get 5 cases in the car, given that we couldn't get 4 in for Anna Maria Island, but that's a problem for later in the day.
First up it's just me and Julie for a couple of hours at Hollywood Studios, we arrive in time for opening and get a couple of pictures with the ducks. The park is open early so there is no rush, plus our first fast pass for Rock n Roller coaster runs until 10.05.
First ride of the day is Tower of Terror , and then onto the rollercoaster, which when we arrive is shut, but we hang around for 10 minutes and it's soon open and we are seated in the front row for maximum fun

It's then off to Star Wars launch bay to have our photo taken with Chewy, before the last ride in the park on Sta Tours. It's a 20 minute wait for Chevy and then we fast pass Star Tours before saying goodbye to the park and setting off to pick the Oldies up. When we get there at about 11.30 we find them dressed for an arctic exploration, which is a real shame as we are heading into Animal Kingdom to catch a performance of Finding Nemo and then a spot of lunch.
It's been 4 years or so since we last did Finding Nemo and it doesn't take too long to work out why. The show is just not up to scratch and isn't anywhere near the standard of the Lion King. I endure the 35 minute, which was only made bearable by a large cookie ice cream sandwich before hand.
Once the show is over we head to Yak and Yeti for food but there is a 50 minute wait so I politely decline. I do have a preferred card for the restaurant but forgot about it.
We are all still hungry so decide to try the Rainforest Cafe at the front gates, it's busy and I am quoted a 50 minute wait but then I remember my Landrys preferred card and we are seated within 5 minutes. And then we wait and wait and wait for our food , we only ordered burgers but clearly they were forgotten about as when they do arrive they are luke warm. In the spirit of Britishness we say nothing and scoff them down.
It's then a short drive to the hotel to pick up our luggage, I grab a shower at the pool and then we load up the car and there isn't too much difficulty in fitting in the remaining case and 40 minutes later we are pulling up at the airport.
A very friendly gentleman helps with all of our luggage while at the same time throwing mam into a wheel chair and pushing her with the other hand. He's well worth the $10 tip. There are a few communication problems with passing through security, which could have all been avoided if mother had stayed in the wheel chair as instructed............ but we get through with a few raised voices, mainly from the security staff !!
Me and Julie are travelling business class home as we got a pretty amazing price and the flat beds really did appeal, so we say our goodbyes and head off to the Business lounge where we prepare for the journey home with a couple of glasses of wine before going to the boarding gate.
We are soon seated and the drinks and food flow till it's time for bed. I get a couple of hours kip but it's still a noisy plane with poor air quality and people on the go all of the time . Enjoyed the business class experience but wouldn't pay for it again . Holiday over !!
